If you’re applying for a documentary or your film is already in production, the script doesn’t need to be finished. It might be a PDF containing video links, a treatment, or any other pitch paper that highlights the potential of the idea.
A cover letter is a document that outlines your project’s goals. Give the evaluators an idea of your professional background and creative vision. Tell us if you have started production and what you plan to do with the money. It should be between one and two pages long.
We would want to consider your work for our funding program, regardless of whether it is a simple screenplay or an already-produced movie. We take into account a variety of projects, ranging from complete packages looking for finishing funding to stand-alone screenplays.
How to become Eligible.
We welcome international applicants. All persons from anywhere in the world are eligible; however the material submitted must be in English. If an applicant is younger than 18 years old, a verifiable parental consent form must also be submitted with application.
Grant Funding OpportunitiesIn partnership with various film companies, a film & media fund trust VKC is offering 5 production grants per year to talented filmmakers for narrative features, short films and TV pilot series scripts and documentaries that display originality, vision & exceptional potential. Grant amounts will vary depending on the scale and merit of each project
